Every person with a Samsung has the same bizarre photo hidden in their phone

It can only be found using a specific code

You might want to have a look through your phone if you’re a Samsung user because it turns out every single person with a device has the same bizarre photo hidden in their smartphone.

No, this isn’t a late April Fools joke - if you’re the proud owner of a Samsung Galaxy then there is a photo hidden on your phone.

And it isn’t just any photo, it’s a bizarre image of a chihuahua sitting on a cushion on what appears to be a white plastic chair.

However, there’s no point in sifting through your photos app because you won’t find it there.

Instead, the chihuahua photo can be found in a hidden menu called ‘diagnostic mode’.

It’s not as simple as opening up settings and having a look for this mode either, there’s a specific way in which you can access it.

How to find the strange image

If you want to have a peek at the photo for yourself, there are simple steps you can follow in order to open up diagnostic mode on your phone.

First, open the phone app and dial ‘*#0*#’, which will cause a menu to appear with a list of options.

These options enable you to test different functions on your phone

For the purpose of finding the chihuahua, click ‘SENSOR’, which will cause a mass of data and buttons to appear.

Select ‘IMAGE TEST’, which will appear at the top of your screen and boom - the chihuahua will pop up.

Samsung has never explained why the image is hidden in every phone, especially as it’s a low quality photo to use for an image text.

People have taken to social media to react to the revelation, with one user on Reddit saying: “This makes me wanna buy a Samsung phone.”

Another wrote: “Bored me once did this in a T-Mobile store and doing that set off an alarm and got me banned from entering again.”

A third commented: “Idk who's dog that is but that's pretty funny. Didn't expect this to actually work.”

A fourth user said: “Just did this and found the image to be slightly cursed due to the narrow outer screen distortion.”

A fifth claimed: “This dog has passed. His name was Enrique. Look it up.”

And a sixth person added: “Samsung has never officially commented on it. It's just sorta been there. Some dev tech probably put it there. Now his pup lives forever ha.”
